OutbidMe
Privacy policy
Last updated August 29, 2026
This policy explains what OutbidMe collects when you browse, list a product, or pay a bid.
What we store
Product listings: name, URL, tagline, description, logo/favicon, category, bid total, click counts, and rank.
Visits and clicks: we hash IP addresses for anti-abuse and unique counts. We do not store card numbers or UPI credentials.
Payments: amount in USD, status, and Razorpay payment or payment-link IDs so we can credit a bid once. Checkout itself runs on Razorpay.
What is public
The leaderboard is public. Anyone can see product name, category, bid amount, and click counts. Do not put secrets in a listing.
Analytics
We use DataFast on outbidme.online to understand page views. Payment success may be recorded as an analytics event when an email is available from checkout. Localhost tracking is typically off.
Processors
Razorpay processes payments. MongoDB stores application data. Hosting may be on Vercel. Those providers see the data needed to run their service, under their own policies.
Cookies
We use cookies or similar storage for session/auth if you sign in, and for analytics. You can block cookies in the browser; the public board still works.
Retention
Listings and bid history stay as long as the board exists, unless we remove a listing under the rules. Hashed visit data is kept to power live stats and anti-abuse.
Contact
To ask about data on your listing, use the contact method on outbidme.online. If you listed a product, we can update or remove the public listing from our side when required.
